Edmonton, Amiskwaciy Waskahikan, is a traditional gathering place and travel route to Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Metis, Dene,  Nêhiyawak, Nahkawininiwak, and Nakota Sioux. In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we honour and acknowledge that Edmonton Public School Board Ward C is located on Treaty 6 territory and Métis Region 4. We acknowledge all the many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries.
